COVID-19 Update
FHWK GATHERING for 2021
To keep everyone safe from COVID-19, the entire event will be held on Zoom. We, the Elders, and presenters are excited by this new opportunity to celebrate Native culture and wisdom on-line! We hope this format allows people who have not been able to join us at Council Grove to finally attend. And we hope that past participants find the experience as enriching as always. We’ve simplified the fee schedule so that one fee admits registrants to all of the three-day weekend’s events.
The FHWK Board of Directors is happy to announce the Elders and presenters for the 2021 gathering in April:
Mike Bastine (Algonquin)
Julia BrownWolf (Lakota)
Minisa Crumbo Halsey (Citizen Band Potawatomi/Muscogee Creek)
Terri Delahanty (Cree/Ojibwa)
Eugene B. Joe (Dine’)
Curtis Kekahbah (Kanza, Kaw)
Reuben IronHorse-Kent (Iowa of Kansas and Nebraska)
Della Romero (Puebla/Ute)
We hope you can join us for this unique time with Indigenous people willing to share precious traditional tribal wisdom with others.
